I am a PhD candidate in the History of Art at Yale University, specializing in the art of the ancient Mediterranean and its afterlives.

I study art and religion in the ancient Greek world, particularly Southern Italy. My dissertation considers how the art of burial constructed relationships between people and place in 5th-4th century BCE Metaponto and Taranto. My artistic practice, museum work, and public scholarship bridge the two pillars of my engagement with the ancient world: object-based study and public-facing narratives.

I’ve excavated at the Molyvoti Thrace Archaeological Project and with the Scuola Superiore Meridionale at Metaponto. My work is supported by the Charlotte W. Newcombe Fellowship, il Centro per la Storia dell’Arte e dell’Architettura delle Città Portuali “La Capraia,” and a Fulbright research grant in Italy. I hold the 2026-27 Etruscan Foundation Research Fellowship.
