I am a PhD candidate in the History of Art at Yale University, specializing in the art of the ancient Mediterranean and its receptions.
My dissertation project explores the art of burial and embodied experiences of death in the culturally heterogeneous colonial poleis of Southern Italy. In 2024, I was named a Charlotte W. Newcombe Fellow for work on religion and ethics.
Prior to Yale, I received a BA in Classics from Princeton, and an MA from the Williams College Graduate Program in the History of Art. I’ve excavated at the Molyvoti, Thrace Archaeological Project and in Southern Italy at Metaponto.
