I am a PhD candidate in the History of Art at Yale University, specializing in the art of the ancient Mediterranean and its afterlives.

My dissertation project explores the art of burial in the culturally heterogeneous colonial poleis of Southern Italy. For the year 2025-26, I hold a Fulbright grant for Italy and a Predoctoral Research Residency at the Centro per la Storia dell’Arte e dell’Architettura delle Città Portuali “La Capraia” in Naples.

Prior to Yale, I received an BA in Classics from Princeton University, and an MA from the Williams College Graduate Program in the History of Art. I’ve excavated at the Molyvoti Thrace Archaeological Project and in Southern Italy at Metaponto. In my artistic work, I explore the boundaries between scholarship and art.
